About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at MANPREET & KAMALPREET GILL FARM. As a key member of our farm operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the smooth operation of our crop production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Agricultural Services: Ensure the timely and efficient provision of agricultural crop services, including plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
  • Supervise Farm Workers: Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain Farm Safety and Bio-Security: Ensure that all farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed to prevent accidents and maintain a healthy working environment.
  • Quality Control and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality control and production records to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Crop Operations Management: Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations to ensure optimal crop yields and quality.
  • Work Records and Logs: Maintain accurate and detailed work records and logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Staff Management: Hire and train staff as needed to ensure adequate staffing levels and expertise.
  • Machinery and Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • General Farm Duties: Perform general farm duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the farm.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
