About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Operations Manager to join our team at Sukhi's Hill Top Farm. As a key member of our agricultural team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our farm, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Planning and Management
    • Develop and implement crop rotation plans to optimize soil health and crop yields
    • Monitor and control crop growth, ensuring timely harvesting and minimal waste
  • Team Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of farm workers and harvesting laborers
    • Provide guidance and training to ensure team members are equipped to perform their duties effectively
  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of farm equipment and machinery
    • Ensure all equipment is in good working condition to minimize downtime and optimize productivity
  • Quality Control
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality crops are produced
    • Monitor and address any quality issues promptly to minimize losses
  • Record Keeping
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of crop production, yields, and quality
    • Provide regular reports to management on farm performance and areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience
    • Experience in farm operations or a related field is an asset
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a rural area, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking required throughout the day. The work environment is physically demanding, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
