As a key member of our farm operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our farm, ensuring the highest standards of crop production and farm safety.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Agricultural Services: Ensure the efficient and effective provision of agricultural crop services, including plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
- Supervise Farm Workers: Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties.
- Maintain Farm Safety and Bio-Security: Ensure that all farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, protecting the health and well-being of our staff and the quality of our produce.
- Quality Control and Production Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of farm production, quality control, and other relevant data.
- Crop Operations Management: Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations, ensuring optimal yields and quality.
- Work Records and Logs: Maintain accurate and detailed records of farm work, including staff training and development.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and manage a team of farm workers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Farm Machinery and Equipment: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and used efficiently.
- General Farm Duties: Perform general farm duties as required, including maintenance and repairs.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment.
- English language proficiency.
- 40 hours per week.
