Respiratory Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Dawson Creek & District Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide ongoing respiratory care to clients with a variety of illnesses and diseases, including acute and chronic cardio-respiratory conditions.
  • Work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to enhance client outcomes and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education to maintain and advance clinical competence.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligibility for registration with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT).
  • Current valid BC Driver's License.
