Position Overview

Are you a dedicated Occupational Therapist eager to utilize your expertise in a fresh and engaging setting? We are currently offering a remarkable opportunity for you to contribute your strong work ethic to our Rehabilitation Services team.

An Occupational Therapist in this role is accountable for the evaluation, treatment, education, and management of patients in need of Occupational Therapy. This involves active participation in therapy sessions, quality assessment, and ongoing professional development in various care environments including inpatient, outpatient, and continuing care.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift - 08:00 to 16:00

Compensation: The new wage is: $52.95/hour

About the Healthcare Facility

The facility is a comprehensive 50-bed hospital providing a wide range of services, including inpatient care, emergency services, respiratory therapy, rehabilitation, surgical procedures, obstetrics & gynecology, medical imaging, and cancer treatment. It serves as the orthopedic and trauma center for the northeastern region.

Qualifications Required

  • Graduation from an accredited Canadian Occupational Therapy program or meeting the registration criteria with the relevant regulatory body.
  • Possession of a current license with the appropriate regulatory authority.
  • Preference given to therapists who are members of the national professional association.

  • Physical capability to fulfill the responsibilities associated with the position.
  • Sound professional judgment and initiative grounded in education and experience in Occupational Therapy.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and perform work accurately.
