Job Description:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Cold Lake Healthcare Centre. As an RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients, families, and communities across our region. Your expertise will be essential in providing safe, effective, and compassionate care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients, families, and communities
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participate in emergency response situations, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure patient safety
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and best available research to inform clinical decisions

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in nursing from an accredited institution
  • Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
  • 1-2 years of experience as a bedside nurse or in the emergency department within the last 5 years

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) certification
  • Advanced Studies in Critical Nursing (ACCN) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Estimated Salary:$38.00-$45.50 per hour
