Food Service Team Lead - Customer Experience Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Supervisor to lead our food service team at Holiday Inn Express Cold Lake. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and customer service, with the ability to motivate and train staff to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Management: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy hotel.
  • Staff Supervision: Train, supervise, and mentor food service staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver excellent service.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality in all aspects of food service, including presentation, taste, and hygiene.
  • Customer Service: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues in a fair and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in food service supervision, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and train staff to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures, with the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
