Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Financial Services Sales Advisor. As a key member of our Desjardins Agent Team, you will be responsible for developing leads, scheduling appointments, and identifying customer needs to market appropriate products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate new business leads and expand existing relationships.
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Product Expertise: Stay up-to-date on our product offerings and provide expert advice to customers on their financial needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Agent to establish and meet office goals, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

Requirements:

  • Sales Experience: Previous sales experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Drive and Motivation: A strong drive to meet sales goals and a willingness to learn and grow with our team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive in problem-solving and able to think critically to resolve customer issues.
  • Customer Focus: Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our clients.
  • Professional Certifications: A Life/Accident and Sickness license is required, and a Canadian Investment Funds license is a bonus.
