We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Advisor to join our team at Iqra Arsalan - Desjardins Insurance Agent. As an Insurance Advisor, you will play a key role in helping our clients achieve their insurance goals and build strong relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Generation and Appointment Scheduling: Develop leads, schedule appointments, and identify customer needs to market appropriate products and services.
- Product Education and Advisory Services: Educate and advise clients on our products while adhering to the company's underwriting policies.
- Customer Service: Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Sales Goal Achievement: Work with the agent to establish and meet sales goals.
- Needs-Based Review Process: Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
- Work Ethic and Commitment: Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
- Insurance Licenses: Property & Casualty license and LLQP License, with a minimum of 2 years of insurance experience.
- Successful Sales Track Record: A successful track record of meeting sales goals.
- Self-Motivation and Multi-Tasking: Self-motivated and able to multi-task.
- Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Previous Insurance Experience: Previous insurance experience in various disciplines, such as underwriting, claims, sales, or service, would be an asset.
This is an opportunity to work with an independent contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network, not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. As an independent contractor agent's employee, you will be responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding your employees.
