**Aboriginal Health and Wellness Centre: A Leader in Indigenous-Led Care

The Aboriginal Health and Wellness Centre is committed to providing high-quality, culturally sensitive healthcare services to our community. We are seeking a skilled Greeter to join our team.

As a Greeter, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all individuals who visit our centre feel welcome and supported. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing them with information and assistance as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and support all individuals entering the centre, including those from diverse cultural backgrounds and identities
  • Nurture a judgement-free, shame-free environment focused on harm-reduction and individual healing journeys
  • Emphasize culturally sensitive, person-centered care, recognizing the importance of social issues affecting Indigenous populations
  • Deliver safe practices in accordance with AHWC program standards and organizational values
  • Facilitate crowd control and clinic flow, assisting community members waiting to be seen or monitored post-visit
  • Assist with navigation through the site, maintaining signage and print resources
  • Work collaboratively with the RAAM Clinic team, reporting operational issues as advised

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team and multiple clinical operations
  • Strong de-escalation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal communication and time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate excellent organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills

About the Position:

This is a 0.3 FTE position, working 11am-7pm weekdays and 9am-4:30pm Saturdays. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary:$18.00-$22.91 per hour
