A Guest Service Representative at The Wickaninnish Inn is responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences from initial contact through check-out. This includes greeting guests, checking them in and out, and being their personal contact throughout their stay.

This position requires flexibility, creativity, and excellent communication skills to positively impact guests' experiences. As a Guest Service Representative, you will have the opportunity to speak with guests on the phone, make their reservation arrangements, and be the one to greet and check them in upon arrival.

Responsibilities:

  • Process reservation calls and welcome guests
  • Check in and check out guests, ensuring a seamless experience
  • Deliver amenities such as fruit plates and room deliveries
  • Answer enquiries regarding the inn's services and registration by telephone, email, and written correspondence
  • Provide guest service and concierge-related tasks, including arranging recreation trips and recommending local activities and dining options

Requirements:

  • Exemplary guest service skills and a demonstrated willingness to exceed guest expectations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Maestro, Microsoft Word, Excel, and File Maker Pro
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License

What We Offer:

$20 per hour + Financial Commitment Incentive available
