Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

Join Original Joe's Whitecourt as a Restaurant Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our staff are well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food safety and sanitation procedures are followed
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure efficient resource allocation
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment
  • Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours per week
  • English as the primary language of work

Our fast-paced environment requires individuals who can work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be standing for extended periods, walking, and working in a physically demanding environment.
