Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

At Original Joe's Whitecourt, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring optimal use and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and implement menu items, promotions, and specials, driving sales and customer engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality service.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
