Cencora is seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our internal and external associates.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to internal and external associates, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, including coordinating work and ensuring that our business and client requirements are met.
- Server and Backup Management: Monitor servers and backups, investigate issues, and ensure that incidents are resolved in accordance with defined service levels.
- Telephony Support: Plan, schedule, and coordinate Call Centre telephony requirements in accordance with predefined vendor and corporate processes.
- Desktop and Server Upgrades: Implement desktop and server upgrades and enhancements as per technology life cycles and in compliance with change management policies.
- Incident Management: Document, track, and monitor incidents/problems via ServiceNow to ensure a timely resolution.
- Inventory Management: Ensure that sufficient inventory levels are kept up to date.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Support onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires, terminations, and internal moves.
- Equipment Repair: Coordinate arrangements for repair of malfunctioning computer equipment with vendors.
- User Configuration: Configure and process user configurations for hardware and software.
- End-User Support: Provide 2nd level end-user support, including user ID administration, password reset, and unlocking user accounts.
- Education: Requires training in fields such as computer sciences or similar vocations, generally obtained through completion of a four-year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Experience: 6 years' experience as a Systems Administrator required.
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or MS Certified Desktop MCDSTITIL V3 certificate.
- Skills: Proven experience with TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, wireless, and a working knowledge of secure VPNs and Cisco Firewall. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strives to deliver customer service. Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize various requests based on business importance.
