We are seeking a skilled Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at THE 6IX TRANSPORT. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 35 to 40 hours of work per week.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new administrative procedures, reviewing and evaluating existing ones, delegating work to office support staff, and ensuring that established procedures are followed and deadlines are met.

  • This role also involves coordinating and planning for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • In addition, the Administrative Support Specialist will assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence, perform data entry, and oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and less than 7 months of experience. You will also need proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.

  • Familiarity with diversity and cross-cultural training is an asset, particularly in creating a welcoming work environment for newcomers, refugees, youth, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
Estimated Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
