Help Desk Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced User Support Technician to join our team at BC Ltd. as a permanent employee.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance and support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and software.
- Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions to technical issues.
- Offer advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring they have the necessary skills to use computer systems effectively.
- Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
- Collaborate with the design team to redesign applications and other software, ensuring they meet the needs of users.
- Supervise and mentor other technical support workers in this group, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring seamless access to technology.
- Configure and set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in a technical support role is an asset.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of computer systems and software.
- 40 hours per week.
- English language required.
