Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced User Support Technician to join our team at BC Ltd. as a permanent employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance and support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and software.
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions to technical issues.
  • Offer advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring they have the necessary skills to use computer systems effectively.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Collaborate with the design team to redesign applications and other software, ensuring they meet the needs of users.
  • Supervise and mentor other technical support workers in this group, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring seamless access to technology.
  • Configure and set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a technical support role is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of computer systems and software.
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week.
  • English language required.
