About the Role

The IT Help Desk Specialist will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees, ensuring that they have access to the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of computer systems and networks, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

This is a permanent full-time position with a 35-hour work week. The salary range for this role is approximately $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide first-line technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Analyze and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of problems and solutions.
  • Participate in the ongoing development and maintenance of our company's technology infrastructure.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
  • A college diploma or CEGEP certificate in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and operating systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
