Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service and sales performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising Staff: Managing a team of up to 2 staff members, providing guidance and training to ensure they meet their job requirements.
  • Assigning Duties: Allocating tasks and responsibilities to sales workers, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Hiring and Training: Recruiting, hiring, and training new staff members, or arranging for their training as needed.
  • Financial Management: Authorizing payments by cheque, managing cash, and overseeing payroll administration.
  • Inventory Management: Organizing and maintaining inventory, including ordering merchandise and authorizing returns.
  • Customer Service: Selling merchandise, resolving customer complaints and issues, and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A college or CEGEP education.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A strong focus on customer service and sales performance.
Work Environment
  • This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week.
  • The work language is English.
