Junior Human Resources Advisor (On-site)

At TC Transcontinental, we're driven by innovation and a commitment to excellence. As a Junior Human Resources Advisor, you'll play a vital role in providing HR support services to our business units, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our employees and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and administrative support to all levels of the Operating Unit on HR-related matters and business initiatives;
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, background checks, and employment offers;
- Lead the new hire onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for all new employees;
- Advise and coach managers and supervisors on HR policies, best practices, and employee relations issues;
- Manage employee status changes, benefit enrollment, and other HR-related tasks;
- Communicate with employees on benefit-related subjects, such as STD, LTD, and leaves of absence;
- Participate in coaching, discipline, and investigation meetings, and draft relevant documentation;
- Manage immigration documentation and update HR process trackers to ensure accurate data;
- Run monthly and ad-hoc reports through the HRIS system and Excel;
- Assist with performance and compensation reviews, and contribute to employee engagement initiatives;
- Support a healthy and safe work environment by following workplace regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources Management;
- 1-2 years' experience in an HR Advisor capacity;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred;
- Solid experience with handling immigration documentation;
- Ability to understand business requirements and work with minimal supervision;
- Excellent organizational and priority setting skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment;
