Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Mount Brydges Food Market. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Staff: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Merchandise Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, ensuring that it is properly stocked and displayed to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is properly ordered and received, and that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and customer service, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
  • Language: English
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
