About the Role

The Business Administrator will play a critical role in supporting the Community Initiatives & Agriculture (CIA) portfolio with administrative functions across all three business units: KDays, Farmfair International, and Canadian Finals Rodeo. This professional will provide administrative support to the CIA team and senior leadership, manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and schedule appointments.

This role will also support the implementation and utilization of systems and tools to provide support, improved communication, team efficiency, and internal and external collaboration. The successful candidate will have a diploma in Business Administration or a related field, 3-5 years of experience in administrative roles, and high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the CIA team and senior leadership.
  • Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and schedule appointments.
  • Prepare and edit reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Create, organize and maintain files, digitally through SharePoint.
  • Assist in planning and organizing company events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external clients to ensure seamless communication and execution of tasks.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in administrative roles.
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
