About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Analyst to join our Global Transaction Banking team. As a Senior Technical Analyst, you will be responsible for providing full system life cycle management and support of our file translation platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement database structures and schemas to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor database performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Create and enforce data security policies and procedures to protect sensitive information.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Troubleshoot database issues and collaborate with other IT staff to resolve them.
  • Develop automation for day-to-day operational database tasks to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date database documentation.
  • Train and develop the skills of the team to enhance their technical expertise.
  • Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations to ensure seamless transitions.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in database technologies.
  • Expert knowledge of SQL tuning and database performance optimization.
  • Experience with performance tuning of MS databases, highly available payment and transactional systems, data replication, and database clusters.
  • Strong understanding of financial payment products and services, including technical aspects and business logic.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Dev, QA, Testing, and Operations teams.
  • Self-motivated and able to learn quickly, with a strong desire to continuously improve and adapt to new technologies.
