Job Title: Senior Systems Analyst

The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to join its Information Technology Services team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing complex computer systems to support the TTC's business operations.

Job Summary

The Senior Systems Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing new computer systems and enhancing existing ones to meet business needs
  • Leading technical analysis and providing technical direction for system development, design, and integration
  • Planning, supervising, and directing work to ensure technical teams acquire sustainable knowledge and skills
  • Promoting a respectful work environment that supports diversity, inclusion, and accessibility
  • Participating in the TTC's customer service Ambassador Program
Key Responsibilities

The Senior Systems Analyst will:

  • Plan and organize activities/projects to meet section and organizational goals
  • Demonstrate specialized expertise and knowledge in assigned fields
  • Apply analytical skills to solve complex problems
  • Communicate effectively in various mediums
  • Manage projects and apply quality assurance principles
  • Gather information and conduct research
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a relevant discipline
  • Extensive hands-on experience in configuring SAP in a professional environment
  • Expert knowledge of Payroll and Benefit business processes
  • Participation in multiple full life cycle large scale SAP project implementations
  • Deep understanding of SAP Canadian Payroll (PY-CA) and Benefits (PA-BN)
  • Experience in year-end payroll activities and Canadian year-end reporting
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting enterprises with multiple unions/bargaining units and complex payroll rules
  • Hands-on experience in design and development of SAP Payroll schemas and PCRs
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving production issues
  • Strong understanding of SAP Payroll processing
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of ABAP, FIORI, and SAP Success Factors
  • Combination of strong technical and business skills
  • SAP Certification appropriate to the area of expertise
