Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Service Leader to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision and guidance to our Speech-Language Pathologists and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to Speech-Language Pathologists and other healthcare professionals in a designated service area.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with other clinical leaders to develop and implement strategic plans for speech and language services.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to Speech-Language Pathologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other healthcare professionals and organizations to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in speech and language pathology to ensure evidence-based practice.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of three years of recent, relevant experience in speech and language pathology, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba (CASLPM).
  • Membership in professional organizations such as Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires occasional evening or weekend work. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and may be exposed to infectious diseases, blood and body fluids, radiation, toxic materials, noise, allergens, physical and emotional stress.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
