Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Service Leader to join our Respiratory Therapy team at Pan Am Clinic. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, mentoring, and supervision to respiratory therapists and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to respiratory therapists and support staff
  • Supervise the daily clinical service delivery and environmental/operational issues in the designated service area
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the delivery of quality respiratory therapy services
  • Assist with performance appraisals and recruitment
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years recent, relevant Respiratory Therapy experience in a large complex environment
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or another field of study with a relevant major
  • Current registration with the MARRT
  • Current registration/membership in the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Training in fiscal and human resource management
  • Knowledge of integrated hospital information systems
  • Completion of, and ongoing participation in, relevant courses, workshops, etc.
Working Conditions

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred.

A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
