As a highly experienced Cybersecurity Risk Manager, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the interests of our clients within the financial industry.

S.i. Systèmes seeks an exceptional professional to fill the position of Senior Information Security Advisor. This key role involves conducting thorough security risk assessments and managing identified risks, as well as providing expert advice on security best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IT security principles, protocols, and industry standards, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the field. They should be skilled in performing comprehensive risk assessments, managing identified risks, and advising stakeholders on security strategies.

This is a remote opportunity located within Toronto, with occasional visits to the office required. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director, Security Advisory Services, and work closely with various business groups, including Digital, Application Services, Enterprise Infrastructure, Architecture, Legal, Compliance and Risk, Privacy, and external service providers and vendors.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough security risk assessments and manage identified risks
  • Advise stakeholders on security strategies and best practices
  • Review security contracts and conduct supplier risk assessments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security controls

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Information Security
  • Experience performing information security risk assessments
  • Knowledge of IT Security principles, protocols, practices, and industry standards
  • Knowledge of technologies related to Information Security: encryption, firewalls, access controls, intrusion detection/prevention, anti-virus, DDoS, behavioral analysis/advanced malware detection
