Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity as a Cybersecurity Risk Manager, reporting to the Manager, Information Security. This role involves planning and executing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery initiatives. You'll work closely with senior management to ensure compliance with risk-mitigating policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular security access and vulnerability diagnostics, remediating risks and issues (including email phishing responses)
  • Maintain and review the Risk Register and I.T. Asset List periodically
  • Perform risk assessments of information systems and infrastructure, developing risk treatment and mitigation options
  • Analyze system architectures to design appropriate security requirements enforcing Information Security policies and standards
  • Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats to Senior Management
  • Collaborate with business units, application teams, and service partners to provide guidance on security controls
  • Manage Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery initiatives
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years' related experience in information security, working with on-prem and cloud technologies
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field
  • Experience as an information security analyst/architect in Banking or Financial services
