Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Third Party Risk Management team at Royal Bank of Canada. This role will be responsible for identifying, collecting, and maintaining data to represent the cybersecurity postures of RBC's third-party suppliers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with expertise in IT risk management and cybersecurity. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will work closely with the Third Party IT Risk (TPITR) team to:

  • Establish strong partnerships with Global Cyber Security teams, Group Risk Management, and RBC Lines of Businesses
  • Build knowledge of TPITR services and third-party threat intelligence landscape and operations
  • Develop working knowledge of Archer reporting capabilities and other reporting tools
  • Produce analytics reports through repeatable, data-driven methods to assess third-party suppliers' cyber security risks
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • An undergraduate degree coupled with change management experience in complex programs with high-frequency requests and multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills
  • Skilled in IT risk/cyber security risk identification through work experience and formal accreditations
  • A strong understanding of IT enterprise application deployment methods and infrastructure technology management specific to the financial services industry

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
