Job Requirements:

We are looking for a skilled Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing bid packages and contracts, conducting take-offs, and preparing cost estimates and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze architectural details and shop drawings.
  • Prepare and coordinate RFI's, submittals, change orders, and material orders.
  • Conduct site inspections and participate in quality control inspections.
  • Collaborate with management to negotiate with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Keep accurate records, including budgets, schedules, and progress reports.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  • Proven experience in construction estimating and project management.
  • A minimum of 3 years commercial estimating experience with various sized projects.
  • Experience with estimating software such as Glaziers Studio and Bluebeam.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
