COORDINATOR, EXTERNAL ENGAGEMENT

Join our dynamic External Engagement team in a pivotal role that focuses on fostering connections and enhancing community relations. As the Coordinator for External Engagement, you will play a crucial part in the creation and management of materials that support various engagements, events, and initiatives. Your responsibilities will include planning and organizing events, maintaining stakeholder databases, preparing written communications, compiling quarterly reports, and developing informational resources. Your organizational skills and collaborative spirit will be essential in ensuring effective outreach and engagement across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager of Community Relations, your duties will encompass:

  • Assisting the Manager in establishing and nurturing relationships with external stakeholders and community groups.
  • Facilitating all aspects of stakeholder engagement, including regular communications, meetings, and both in-person and virtual events.
  • Coordinating outreach initiatives, including working groups, and developing materials for both in-person and digital engagements, while managing an annual events calendar.
  • Creating supportive materials for engagements and events, including written communications, issue management documents, and various reports.
  • Enhancing digital engagement efforts through the development of surveys, public participation panels, webinars, and engagement reports.
  • Collaborating with various departments to gather and share information, seek approvals for materials, and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Keeping accurate records for engagements and effectively prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field along with 1-3 years of experience in public relations, external engagement, project coordination, or corporate communications.

An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

Additional Information

The target salary range for this position is $48,000 - $60,000 per annum, with starting salaries determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
