Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified educator to join our team at the Delores D. Echum Composite School. As a Special Education Resource Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with special needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to provide a comprehensive education program
  • Provide academic and behavioral support to students in a classroom setting
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure student progress and well-being
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Special Education Specialist Part certification
  • Minimum Bachelor of Education Degree
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting
