Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Warkentin Investments Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our accounting systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements to ensure accurate financial reporting.
    • Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to optimize financial performance.
  • Accounting Operations
    • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal control.
    • Prepare financial statements and reports to support business decisions.
  • Financial Analysis
    • Analyze financial documents and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Examine accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Payroll Administration
    • Oversee payroll administration to ensure timely and accurate payment of employees.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience
    • 5 years or more of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
