About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team at Warkentin Investments Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our accounting systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements to ensure accurate financial reporting.
    • Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to optimize financial performance.
  • Accounting Operations
    • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal control.
    • Prepare financial statements and reports to provide insights into our financial performance.
  • Financial Analysis
    • Analyze financial documents and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Examine accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Payroll Administration
    • Oversee payroll administration to ensure timely and accurate payment of employees.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience
    • 5 years or more of experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Work Environment
