Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurants, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement effective operational procedures to ensure efficient service delivery and minimize waste.
    • Monitor and control inventory levels, managing stock and supplies to meet business needs.
    • Implement and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and train a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained, responding promptly to customer complaints and concerns.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage budgets, controlling costs and ensuring financial targets are met.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service or restaurant management role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
