Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Food Safety and Quality: Maintain a high level of food safety and quality, ensure that all food handlers are properly trained, and implement procedures to prevent foodborne illnesses.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, address customer complaints or concerns, and ensure that all customers receive a positive dining experience.
- Inventory and Supplies: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure that all supplies are properly stored and handled.
- Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, manage labor costs, and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Certifications: Food Safety Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate.
The Restaurant Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and be able to multitask in a dynamic environment.
