Cabinetmaker's Assistant

About the Role:
MAPLE FURNITURE is seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker's Assistant to join our team. As a Cabinetmaker's Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our skilled tradespersons in the construction and manufacturing of high-quality furniture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials with precision and care.
- Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials.
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform routine maintenance work, identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems.
- Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Assist skilled tradespersons in their daily tasks, providing support and expertise as needed.
