Position Overview: We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to play a pivotal role in our executive team. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing the right candidate to operate from any location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert financial advice on strategic initiatives and fiscal planning.
- Manage comprehensive financial reporting, including the generation of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Prepare quarterly financial summaries for the board of directors.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze outcomes, implement corrective measures, and reduce discrepancies.
- Enhance accounting processes and controls, particularly in reconciling transactions with external sources such as exchanges and banking institutions.
- Identify finance-related processes suitable for automation and collaborate with the development team for implementation.
- Build and maintain a strong network of banking partners to facilitate fiat settlements and deposits across multiple currencies.
- Negotiate banking fees to optimize costs with both existing and new banking partners.
- Ensure timely payments to vendors, referral agents, and contractors.
- Evaluate pricing proposals for new merchants to ensure appropriate profit margins.
- Collaborate with the Director of Exchange to resolve any settlement or deposit issues.
- Work alongside local accounting representatives to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Assess ad-hoc service opportunities for Fingates Ltd.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the iGaming sector is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency is beneficial but not mandatory; we are willing to provide training.
- Background in foreign exchange transactions is a plus.
- Significant experience in International Relationship Banking, particularly in negotiations, is essential.
- A highly engaging and communicative demeanor is required.
- Executive-level experience with a keen attention to detail.
- A strong interest in becoming part of the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
