Job Title: Chief Executive Officer/Director of Strategic Planning

Dorje Denma Ling is seeking a visionary leader to guide our organization through a transformative period in Shambhala's history. As Chief Executive Officer/Director of Strategic Planning, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to achieve Dorje Denma Ling's mission and goals
  • Lead the development of budgets and financial plans to ensure the financial well-being of the organization
  • Collaborate with the Governing Council and management team to make key decisions and drive organizational growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Shambhala community, donors, and partners
  • Oversee the management of staff and volunteers, ensuring a positive and productive work environment
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and leadership
  • Strong financial management skills and experience with budget development and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and stakeholders
  • Passion for the Shambhala community and commitment to its values
