Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Chetwynd General Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care in a variety of clinical settings.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure client-centered care and respond to changing healthcare needs.
  • Practice in accordance with established vision and values of Northern Health Authority and the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare teams to promote effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing.
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant (BCCNM).
  • Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of the assigned area as required by the position.
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification within 3 years.
  • Current Fetal Health Surveillance (FHS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 2 years.
