Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Chetwynd General Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a variety of clinical settings.

The successful candidate will have a passion for nursing and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of client-centered care, assisting individual clients and their families to respond to changing health care needs.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care in a variety of clinical settings
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver client-centered care
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of clients
• Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote health and well-being
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
• Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of the assigned area (e.g. emergency, perinatal, operating room)
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
