Position: Client Support Specialist

Reporting to: Client Services Supervisor

Department: Logistics Services

Employment Type: Full-Time Contract

Role Overview:

This position involves receiving, preparing, and dispatching samples for our clients, as well as handling various administrative tasks to support the Logistics Services Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome clients warmly and positively

• Accept and process incoming client samples

• Repackage samples and coordinate their shipment to designated laboratories

• Monitor shipments and address any issues that may arise

• Collaborate with external service providers, including courier companies

• Ensure timely communication regarding sample shipments

• Manage bottle order requests and oversee their delivery

• Identify and escalate routine and non-routine issues to the Supervisor

• Maintain inventory levels of supplies

• Keep the workspace clean, safe, and organized

• Address client inquiries promptly and escalate when necessary

• Strive for overall satisfaction of the regional client base

• Work closely with sales staff to enhance Bureau Veritas's market presence

• Monitor and calibrate temperature-sensitive equipment

• Comply with quality assurance standards and safety protocols

• Be available for on-call duties as required

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma

• Experience in a laboratory setting is a plus

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Energetic, positive attitude, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment

Working Environment:

• Fast-paced laboratory setting with high productivity demands

• Flexible hours, including potential overtime and shift work

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines

• Some physical lifting and standing for extended periods

• Adherence to safety procedures when handling hazardous materials

Salary Range: $18-$19, dependent on various factors including location and experience.
