Position Overview
Corteva Agriscience is in search of a dedicated Strategic Account Manager for the Southern Alberta territory. This position entails collaborating closely with designated Strategic Accounts to advocate for Corteva's seed and crop protection offerings. The primary duties encompass performing business assessments, executing sales initiatives, providing precise agronomy services, and fostering robust client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in agricultural sales and a comprehensive understanding of agronomic methodologies. Please note that visa sponsorship and international relocation are not available for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business performance of grower accounts
- Execute sales initiatives and promote Corteva's product line
- Provide precision agronomy services to clients
- Establish and maintain relationships while offering product expertise
- Achieve revenue goals and develop compelling value propositions
- Coordinate with support teams to fulfill business requirements
- Offer insights on product effectiveness and market dynamics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Business, or Marketing
- At least 7 years of experience in agricultural sales
- Proven experience with strategic accounts
- Strong grasp of agronomic practices
