About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 1867845 ALBERTA LTD. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock Shelves and Maintain Store Appearance: Restock shelves, clean the counter area, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Participate in Promotional Activities: Engage with customers, promote products, and participate in in-store events and promotions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Retail business.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent oral communication, and flexibility.
