Job Overview

Canada Post Corp is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. This temporary on-call position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic retail environment and develop skills in sales, customer service, and mail operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • Operate a computer point of sale system to process transactions and manage inventory
  • Maintain a high level of postal products, services, and delivery knowledge to assist customers with their mail and package needs
  • Process financial transactions, including cash, cheques, debit, and credit card payments
  • Receive, sort, sequence, and batch mail items to ensure timely delivery
  • Operate mail processing equipment, such as clearing jams and removing mail from sorting machines, as required
  • Transport mail between floors/sections using rolling or motorized equipment, as required
Requirements
  • Experience in customer service in a retail environment
  • Sales experience is an asset
  • Experience working in a production environment is an asset
