Role Overview

The Government Sector Proposal Manager is essential in enhancing the effectiveness of field sales teams and strategic alliances. This role involves close collaboration with diverse teams to formulate successful strategies and proposals for government contracts and significant strategic initiatives. The position requires active participation in proposal development, writing, and capture management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal and Capture Management:
    • Lead and coordinate all activities related to capture and proposal development.
    • Provide insightful metrics and reports to leadership regarding upcoming RFPs and strategic pursuits.
    • Facilitate collaboration with internal teams, including Client Managers, ISG, Solution Engineers, Technical Specialists, Legal, Sales, and Partners.
    • Manage legal documentation for teaming agreements.
    • Oversee each pursuit, identifying risks and establishing regular communication protocols.
    • Ensure effective stakeholder communication with clear action items and responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Government Sector Capture domain, encompassing proposal development, business development, opportunity tracking, and research.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional organizational skills, strong writing capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with various levels and subject matter experts.
  • Experience within the technology sector is highly desirable.
