Job Description

As a Public Sector Capture Manager at Lenovo, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and success in the government sector. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop winning strategies and proposals for government contracts and large strategic pursuits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capture and Proposal Management:
    • Develop and execute capture strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
    • Lead proposal development teams to create compelling and effective proposals that meet client needs.
    • Coordinate responses with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and technical experts.
    • Manage proposal budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the government sector.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials and industry partners.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market analysis, and competitor activity.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical experts.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in the Public Sector Capture field, including proposal development, business development, opportunity tracking, and research.
  • Strong organizational abilities, solid writing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple levels and subject matter experts.
  • Experience in the technology industry.
