Established in 1994, Anecto is a leading Electronic Engineering provider of service solutions to the power conversion industry. Its comprehensive range of services includes repair and refurbishment, training, technical support, and parts management.


It is committed to the achievement of a carbon-neutral planet – solutions today extend the life and increase the productivity of customers' assets that generate, store, and distribute green electricity. As part of their European expansion plans, they have identified the need to hire a Technical Sales Manager. This position is expected to be fully remote, with periodic trips to the Irish HQ required.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct analysis of the business environment with a particular focus on the renewable energy sector to identify new customers.
  • Create and manage a portfolio of client accounts, monitoring ongoing activities and customer experience.
  • Develop technical/product knowledge around key technologies and applications in the renewable energy space.
  • Prioritize and manage the pipeline of prospects according to their potential, ensuring strategic and commercial fit with Anecto’s needs.
  • Analyze and create innovative solutions and propositions that deliver tangible business benefits to customers.
  • Develop effective sales proposals and presentations utilizing a range of communication tools and techniques.
  • Develop effective public relations and marketing activities related to the energy business.

Experience
  • Professional background in a technical sales role in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of the renewables market with experience in a power electronics background.
  • Desirable: 3rd level/university qualification in Electronic/Electrical Engineering.

Desired Skillsets
  • Proficient in English and French/German.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to build and forge customer relationships.
  • Consultative approach to solving commercial problems and building business.
  • Proficient in good questioning and listening techniques.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, ensuring effective time management, prioritization, and strategic alignment of activities.
