Position Overview: Faculty Member, Law - Tenure Track
The College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan is seeking to appoint up to two tenure-track faculty members. We invite applications from outstanding candidates across various legal disciplines, with particular emphasis on Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Torts, and Private Law. Additionally, we are eager to enhance our expertise in Constitutional Law and Legal Theory/Jurisprudence. Candidates with a focus on Aboriginal and Indigenous Law are highly encouraged to submit their applications.
While the anticipated appointment is at the Assistant Professor level, we are open to considering established scholars at the Associate Professor level, provided they bring a robust and ongoing research agenda. Our College is dedicated to the teacher-scholar model, emphasizing high-quality education and active engagement with students in the classroom. The successful candidate will be expected to teach both in their area of specialization and in foundational courses.
The College of Law is recognized for its strengths in various fields, including Dispute Resolution, Constitutional Law, Aboriginal & Indigenous Law, and Access to Justice. We host significant centers such as the Indigenous Law Centre and CREATE Justice, fostering interdisciplinary collaborations with other academic units, particularly in Public Health, Public Policy, and Environment and Sustainability.
As the oldest law school in western Canada, the College has a rich history of providing exceptional legal education and scholarship since 1912. We offer a thesis-based degree program that appeals to emerging researchers, allowing faculty to engage in graduate supervision and participate in seminars and conferences on a variety of legal issues.

Salary Ranges:
Assistant Professor: $99,945 to $120,099
Associate Professor: $120,099 to $140,253
