Faculty Position in Music Composition and Theory

The School for the Arts at the University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Music Composition and Theory. The successful applicant will engage in teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses focused on composition, theoretical frameworks, and associated disciplines. Responsibilities will also encompass graduate mentorship, curriculum design, scholarly research, and leadership within the realms of composition and theory, in addition to various administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications:- A Doctorate (DMA) or a Master's degree in Composition, accompanied by notable professional achievements in the field of music composition.
- Experience in post-secondary education is considered an advantage.
The salary range for this role is set between $99,945 and $120,099 for the Assistant Professor level. A comprehensive benefits package is included, featuring dental, health, and extended vision care, pension plans, life insurance, long-term disability coverage, sick leave, and additional perks.
