Job Opportunity at the University of Saskatchewan
The University of Saskatchewan's College of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Operative/Restorative Dentistry and Dental Materials at the academic ranking of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical teaching to students
- Supervise student research projects and provide guidance on academic achievements
- Initiate, lead, and participate in research activities to advance the field of dentistry
- Compete for internal and external funding to support research programs
- Undertake relevant administrative activities to support the College of Dentistry
Requirements:
- Hold a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree
- Provide evidence of collaborative academic achievements
- PhD or MSc degree with a solid emerging record of research and/or academic accomplishments is preferred
- Postdoctoral training is considered an asset for the position
- Effective classroom teaching skills, mentoring abilities, and strong interpersonal communication skills are desirable
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary bands for this position are as follows: Assistant Professor: $99,945 to $120,099; Associate Professor: $120,099 to $140,253; and Professor: $140,253 to $163,766
